Many of our craftsmen have a lifetime's experience in the timber and furniture industries and have pioneered new designs and manufacturing methods.

We use teak because it is universally regarded as the best amongst hardwoods for outdoor furniture due to its durability, stability and resistance to wear.

As a long established manufacturer, we consider the sourcing of all hardwoods to be an important responsibility and we support the aims of the Forest Stewardship Council.

We use only teak which is certified as coming from well-managed and controlled plantations with planned programmes of replanting. We exclusively continue to buy in sawn timber for manufacture at our own factory in Gloucestershire.
